Our Programs & Services will be designed to provide wraparound support for women veterans and their children. From essential daily services and safe housing to education, wellness, and career empowerment, we will create pathways to stability, healing, and independence–helping every veteran rebuild with dignity and hope.

At SRTKA, we believe in meeting veterans where they are, with comprehensive, wraparound support that addresses immediate needs while building long-term independence. Our Programs & Services will be designed to create safe spaces, strengthen families, and empower women veterans through housing, health, education, and community.

Intake & Core Services – The First Step

Every journey begins with a first step, and ours will be designed to be safe, welcoming, and restorative. Our Intake & Core Services will ensure that women veterans receive immediate support, guidance, and connection to essential resources.  From orientation and spiritual care to urgent medical assistance and compassionate mental health counseling, we will provide a strong foundation for healing and growth.

  • HQ Building / Intake Area – Will serve as the welcoming entry point for assessments and orientation.

  • Place of Worship – Will provide non-denominational spiritual support and community.

  • Acute Care Center – Will provide access to urgent medical services.

  • Mental Health Center – Will deliver on-site counseling and therapy for trauma, PTSD, and recovery.

Supportive & Daily Life Services – Everyday Dignity

True stability comes from having daily needs met with dignity.  Our Supportive & Daily Life Services will be designed to provide women veterans and their families with essential resources that bring relief and restore independence.  From childcare and laundry to food, clothing, and sustainable greenhouse programs, we will make sure everyday life is supported so women can focus on healing and rebuilding their futures.

  • Daycare Center – Will provide reliable childcare so mothers can pursue work, education, and wellness.

  • Community Laundry – Will serve as a shared resource that builds community while meeting daily needs.

  • Angel’s Attic & Food Bank – Will ensure clothing, food, and essentials are available with dignity.

  • Greenhouses – Will offer a healing and skill-building space that promotes sustainability and wellness.

Development & Empowerment – Building Futures

Empowerment begins with opportunity.  Our Development & Empowerment programs will give women veterans access to education, training, and skill-building that pave the way toward financial independence and meaningful careers.  With dedicated centers for academics and hands-on learning, we will equip women to step confidently into their futures.

  • Education Center – Will support tutoring and higher education pathways.

  • Job Training Programs Center – Will provide hands-on training, career readiness, and financial literacy.

Wellness & Recreation – Healing in Motion

Healing extends beyond medical care; this process thrives in movement, joy, and connection. Our Wellness & Recreation programs will encourage women veterans and their children to care for mind, body, and spirit through fitness, play, and restorative outdoor spaces.  By nurturing balance and well-being, we will create opportunities for veterans to rediscover joy and resilience in daily life.

  • Fitness & Recreation Center – Will promote physical health and stress relief.

  • Outdoor Playgrounds – Will provide safe spaces for children to play and grow.

  • Dog Parks – Will recognize the vital role pets play in healing and connection.

  • Peaceful Garden Spaces – Will offer reflection, renewal, and community gatherings.

  • Paws & Promise Canine Care Center- Will nurture the emotional wellness and healing.

Lasting Impact

The crisis of women veteran displacement is an urgent national priority that demands immediate and comprehensive action, particularly in underserved rural communities like Piedmont, Alabama. SRTKA Enterprise Foundation Inc. will offer a proven, holistic, and sustainable solution that directly addresses the unique challenges faced by these heroines.

SRTKA will measure success not only by the number of women housed, but also by the lives rebuilt.
