SRTKA Mission and Vision

Mission Statement: SRTKA Enterprise Foundation Inc. exists to end the displacement of women veterans by developing safe, stable housing and delivering holistic life services through our SUNAGO Village model. We are committed to rebuilding lives, restoring dignity, and supporting each woman’s transition to independence with compassion, integrity, and unwavering respect for her service. Through keen strategic alliances and trauma-informed programs, we help these resilient women rise above adversity, restore their sense of self, and build independent, fulfilling lives.

Vision Statement: To create a world where every woman veteran has access to safe housing, comprehensive support services, and a fully sustainable veteran community; with an emphasis on displaced women veterans; that honors her service, nurtures her well-being, and empowers her journey to self-sufficiency and purpose; ensuring that those who served are never left behind and have a better quality of life.

Start: We provide the vital fresh start that displaced female veterans deserve; offering a safe, stable, and supportive environment where healing and rebuilding can begin.

Rising: Our programs empower women veterans to rise above adversity and support their rising journey of healing and ascend above all hardship.

Through: We fulfill our mission through comprehensive, wraparound services-including housing assistance, job and skills training, mental health support, and educational pathways.

Keen: With keen insight and intention, we build strong, strategic alliances with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to ensure a robust network of resources and sustained support for every woman veteran.

Alliances: These alliances are the foundation of long-term success; we leverage vital alliances among community organizations, health systems, donors, and peer mentors, making successful reintegration and sustainable independence possible.
